Creating an account
Create an account to complete a nomination form for mayor or councillor. Where eligible, councillor candidates may also complete a request to form a group to appear on the ballot paper.
It is important to note that a Registered Political Party or the person who created the nomination or group are the only people who can pay and lodge the nomination and/or group.
Nomination deposit
Online nomination deposits can only be paid by Visacard or Mastercard credit or debit cards.
Information
Please note by completing and lodging a nomination form and deposit your nomination has not been accepted. Each nomination is required to be verified by the NSW Electoral Commission against the electoral roll as at 6pm Monday, 5 August 2024 prior to acceptance. You will be notified if your nomination is confirmed or rejected.
Lodgement of nomination
Nomination forms can be completed and saved now using this system. However, nomination forms, nomination deposits and, if applicable councillor grouping forms, can only be lodged between 8am Monday, 5 August 2024 and 12 noon Wednesday, 14 August 2024.
